Swatch MTV Playground
For the 2011 MTV Playground campaign, Swatch and MTV joined forces again to hold a design competition for the masses, and THANK YOU was there with a simple question: "Why should a logo be static when its primary distribution channels are TV and the web?" The new logo is an inspired collision of turntable and watch — a design that could only work when you think outside of the paper box — movement is as much a part of it as colour, shape or font. A logo that moves with time — what could be more Swatch?
